Adages and Applications

This event is a celebration of two significant milestones in the history of apithology.

The first is the collation of 4000 'Apithoria' in the resource library of the Centre for Humanity Learning.

The second is to mark the formation of over 1000 modalities as 'Apithological Applications' for humanity learning.

For background, an 'apithoria' is the apithology equivalent for an aphorism or commonly used statement of wisdom as ethical guidance (ie an 'adage'). A modality is the apithology equivalent to a tool, method or heuristic that enables a specific form of generative learning (ie an 'application').

This webinar will be presented by Dr. Will Varey. The date coincides with the 19th Anniversary of the founding of the research discipline of apithology.

This will be an interactive session. Participants will select the examples we use prior to the session. The hope is to provide a brief glimpse into the potential of humanity learning. Come along to discover more about this field (even if you have just a passing curiosity).

Public seminars are rare events in the apithology calendar. They represent a commitment to make this knowing available to all. Those interested and attending will be invited to access future learning pathways.

You can register for one of two sessions (covering most timezones) to be held on the same day (local time). Check your own timezone when booking (and - yes its free!)
